Great dining experience, great food, and friendly staff. Great environment for a couple or for the whole family. Our family has been here for dinner twice, and sometimes just come for dessert, which is it's own experience. Dessert is served upstairs in individual dessert rooms, and a live person plays the piano in one section. The dessert menu is literally a 20-something page book full of desserts and dessert drinks. Whenever we have company from out of town, we love to bring them here for dessert at the very least.

This restaurant is an experience. It's been a year or so since I visited (because of the expense). Book far in advance and expect to spend your entire evening there. The decor is interesting (like a tacky bordello) and some rooms are brighter than others - in some you practically need a flashlight to see the menu. Make sure to arrange a tour of the kitchen and wine cellar. The evening is not complete without a trip to the dessert room (yes, dessert is served in a separate section of the restaurant). The escargot and the caviar are the best appetizers. The onion soup is delicious. The steaks are good - but, for me, not the main attraction. The food is good, but the experience is what you go for.
