4. Tampa Bay Brewing Company

We have enjoyed the creative food, splendid atmosphere and fine hearty micro brewed beer at the Tampa Bay Brewing Co. for over ten years. Thanks to the experienced and knowledgeable brewer’s the beer has become, in our mind, the finest quality in the entire Tampa Bay area. From the moment we arrive, our quaffing needs are consistently made to feel right at home by their fine owner, Mrs. Vicki Doble, an English lady with a family history of brewers. As soon as you walk into this microbrewery, you feel at once a part of old historic Ybor City while simultaneously welcomed into an old Victorian pub back in time to 12th century. Here is where manager Dean makes all feel as though among friends. The TBC is very spacious with lots of tables, three full service bars, one outside, one very long bar inside, with another in a cozy fireplace corner. There are a couple of TV’s in there to peak people’s interest as well as several pub games and pool table. The music is either coming from the speakers or, on occasion, they have a special live performance.

I travel a lot & plan my trips around "Brew-Pubs". The Tampa Bay Brewing Company has the best food I have ever had in a Brew-Pub and I have never had better beer any place in the world. i saw them on the Food Channel -- Al Roker selected them as the top 4 Brewery/Restaurants in America for their food.

Fantastic brewpub,we were made very welcome there in a party of 4 with 2 kids, beer was fantastic and food very good, will always return when in the Tampa area.

No entertainment, hence "average" for this; an excellent brewpub, not too noisy, interesting customers, pleasant staff, outstanding and reasonably priced food and a very much above average selection of house beers. The IPA and Porter are particularly recommended. The specials on the menu are usually creative and unusual. Check it out!
