Bridal Veil Falls

TELLURIDE. Bridal Veil Falls, which tumbles more than 400 feet into the San Miguel River, ranks as Colorado's highest falls. The trail leading to it begins at the end of Telluride's main drag and briefly leads hikers into the woods before emerging at the falls and opening onto a truly unforgettable scene. Remember two things when you go: dress appropriately and bring a camera. Also, plan for about a 3½-mile hike if you want to see the enchanting falls. Moderate to difficult route. On a technical note: The total height of the falls is said to be 431 feet; the tallest single drop is 365 feet.
