UPTOWN MAUMEE.   You may not see the words "Village Idiot" on the outside of the building, but you'll know you've found the right bar when you see the face of a joker on the sign. Attracting an alternative crowd looking for diversity, this bar offers live music Thursday through Sunday. The music spans anywhere from alternative to blues to Dead Head tunes. Kinda like a global neighborhood bar-- cool crowd, warm environment, impossible to pigeon hole with great pizza, live entertainment and perhaps the best jukebox in the country. it is "way cool." old, young, rich or poor this place is the real deal.
