MIDTOWN.   As envisioned by entertainer-turned-restaurateur Joso Spralja, the décor here is deliciously over the top, and notable for its vast assortment of original artwork, which is sure to evoke discussion. The food, on the other hand, is decidedly unfussy, in the tradition of the Adriatic region. Seafood is grilled and dressed with lemon, olive oil, and salt and pepper, allowing the true essence of the ocean to shine through in all its briny glory. Wonderful experience. Great food, great ambiance, fun people watching. The service was personal, helpful, and not stuffy. The risotto in squid ink was marvelously rich! And being from Florida, I was surprised by the variety of fish. Would definitely go again.
