DOWNTOWN.   Wildfire is regarded by much of the local population as Toronto’s best steakhouse. The ambience is modern and fashionable and service is adept but devoid of pretension. The steaks? Top quality, grilled to your specifications, and (for true beef lovers) worth every penny. If you need an alternative to steak, Wildfire does an admirable job with other dishes, including cedar plank salmon, ribs, and veal. Appetizers, sides and even desserts are equally fine.
