5. Club Congress

Went on a Thursday night. If you go to the Club Congress Myspace page, you can print up a Club Congress logo from your personal computer and write the word "MEMBER" on it to get in without paying a cover charge. Great drink specials. $1 mixed drinks -- that night was vodka tonics. Fairly crowded probably because of the drink special. Mostly college students. DJ and dance floor was poor. Decent space, but the DJ was remixing and spinning just plain awful stuff that shouldn't have had a synthesizer put to it anyway. No popular requests, just a mish-mash of stuff. Not a very good dance venue. Just go there to get your buzz on.
