This restaurant serves excellent southwestern cuisine with an emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables which are used to create a beautiful presentation - which is also delicious! Their "new" location downtown is very nice, but I miss the original spot which had a more intimate ambiance. Definitely not to be missed while in Tucson!

Love it! This isn't the Sonoran style food you get here in Tucson. It is more like Mexico City style food. The food is so fresh and tasty. This is one of the two Mexican restaurants in town that we recommend to out of town guests. This is one the best places to eat in town.

As an out-of-towner, this restaraunt was recommended by some locals as "the best" and it was! We absolutely loved our meals! The service is a bit slow but the ambiance was great. Scrumptious meals that were way beyond the normal boring stand-by mexican/spanish food. Would definitely pass this on as a "must eat".

This creative southwestern restaurant has the best food I've eaten (of this type) anywhere. I love good Mexican food. This is outstanding, bar none. It's not traditional Mexican. This is best described as southwestern cooking or Mexican cooking on steroids. If you are a vegetarian, the owner always has something for you on the menu, and the veggie (tamale pie) I had was simply mouthwatering.

The best avant-garde restaurant in Arizona and possibly in the Southwest... incredible mole, it's like poetry. Forget all you thought mex taco food was... enter this world, and feel your taste buds exploding.

This is a very unique restaurant where the menu changes twice daily. The food is very different from the usual "Mexican food," with rich sauces and wonderful flavor combinations. It's the favorite restaurant of many Tucson residents.
