4. Li'l Abners Steak House

MARANA.   Li'l Abner's has been around for years, and it's easy to see why. The casual, Western-themed atmosphere is augmented by decades worth of graffiti scrawled on the walls – mostly things like "John Rules" and "Amy loves Mike," with the occasional proverb or bit of restaurant praise (and yes, you're welcome to add your own John Hancock or words of wisdom). And the steaks, well, they're the stuff of legend. Grilled over huge open mesquite fires out back, the steaks (and ribs and chicken) are big and juicy, whether you opt for the diminutive 7-ounce filet or the gargantuan 2-pound Porterhouse. The accompanying beans and salsa give the meal a Southwest flair, but for even more regional flavor, come on a Friday or Saturday night when there's live country-western music and dancing!   (© 10Best)

I'm sorry but no way, not for that price. Verbal menus should have been the first clue. The portions were small. Salad...you mean lettuce with dressing. Beans were cold. And then to charge double from everyone else? Yes, the band was quaint, and my steak very tender and flavorful, but not for the price. The bathroom was worse than high school and the door didn't close. Sorry. I can't recommend it. Not going back.

Wow what a place!!! A must see if in Tucson. Takes you back to the days of backyard bbq. The two inch porterhouse was so amazingly delicious. Fri and Sat nights a band plays old country western songs... and wait til you see the writing on the walls! wow so awesome!! best steak house in Tucson!

Not enough items on the menu! Maybe they need to add brisket to the menu!
