3. Gilcrease Museum

The Gilcrease Museum houses an extensive collection of art, artifacts, and manuscripts that contains pieces to the story of American history. The collection of artwork ranges from paintings to sculptures to drawings, with over 10,000 pieces by over 400 artists from all over the United States. There are over 250,000 artifacts that reflect life from the 19th century Indian tribes to the present. Finally, there is a collection of over 90,000 manuscripts, including some signed by Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson.   (© 10Best)
