For golfers, there's a challenging 18-hole public course, and for plant-lovers, the Mabery Gelvin Botanical Gardens feature seasonal beds, waterfalls and the lovely Miriam Davies Memorial Enabling Garden. Other activities at Lake of the Woods include cross-country skiing, hiking, fishing and picnicking. The Early American Museum is also located on the park grounds.
