4. Railway Club

DOWNTOWN.   Subtly lit and with pub-like ambience, this intimate club is a great Vancouver equalizer, welcoming folks of all interests, backgrounds and likes. Comfortably worn after 70 years of service, the Railway Club is one of those places that just feels good when you enter. Early in the evening, it invites socializing; after 8pm, bands take to the stage, and the place gets added character, courtesy of rock and blues music. Great draft beers are an added perk, and although it's a private club, gaining entrance is just a matter of paying a nominal annual price.   (© 10Best)
