Not impressed at all
Today I had my first experience a Dunn's Tailor's. I had heard lots of positive stories about it so I decided to give it a try. When it comes to buying my own cloths I do not hesitate to buy something when I really like it. I am not so much into the price tag, but the quality of the outfit. I usually stick to one store for years if they give me quality and good service.
So I went in this afternoon and this lady employee wearing glasses looked at me without any greeting. I was the one who first said "hello" so she responded the same way. I asked her about some French cuff shirts. She went to the back of the store to look for my size and told me to look around. I liked some of the other stuff that they had there and really needed more information about them. For instance, I particularly liked this Oxford sports jacket so I wanted to get some sizes, etc. The thing is that she came to me with a shirt that I disliked and just when I expected her to ask me about something else of my interest, she just said "that's OK" and went back to the front desk. At that point I felt I was on my own, helpless in that store, so I decided to leave. I went across the street and bought a nice, expensive suit, at their competitors' Tip Top Tailors.
I mean, if you guys are going to hire a sales person, make sure the person is really going to sale. I didn't feel welcome and she told me to walk around instead of showing me some of the things that I was interested in. She didn't even ask me if I wanted to see another type of shirt or if I was interested in something else. She really looked like she hated her job. Anyway, Dunn's just lost a good loyal customer. Cheers.
