VICTORIA WEST.
Overlooking the scenic Inner Harbour, Spinnakers opened in 1984 and remains a Victoria favorite. The beers are brewed in small batches on-site, so they change frequently. Seasonal brews are featured as well. Adults may enjoy their ales and lagers in the Taproom upstairs, where someone is always ready for a game of darts or pool. If you're looking for a more family-friendly atmosphere, try the restaurant on the main floor. You'll find an excellent selection of lunch and dinner options, and the same fine beers. Be sure to check out their Provisions store, which stocks Spinnaker's Malt Vinegar, along with a variety of deli items, baked goods and candies, all made on the premises.

Spinnakers was better several years ago. The food is ok, and the view can be nice, but there are better spots to spend your money.

The food is middle-of-the -road, the service is poor, but at least the beer is still good. A large selection of authentic brews is available, so if you're there for a pint you'll be fine. There is a nice little bakery at the entrance and an on-site liquor store. Great view of the Inner Harbor. The restaurant is in such a beautiful spot and the structure itself is quite nice. I have no inkling why the management tolerates the low level of service. I've been there half-a-dozen times in the last few months and most of the time my party is ignored for too long, the servers are perfunctory and inattentive. If only the owner could lure away the servers from […] downtown and move them here, he'd have a lot of new and regular business. Improving service would probably translate to improvements in other areas too. There are lots of good items on the menu, but nothing I've eaten there was very exceptional. Better tasting food would likewise attract more customers. … A few tweaks and this place could be one of the best spots in Victoria for real rather than just by reputation.
