I took some out of town guests here and was embarassed. They obviously are on the "milk the tourists" bandwagon. The servers were great, the regular menu was nice but their "tea" was extremely overpriced and sub-standard. Trifle is NOT instant chocolate pudding poured over tinned tropical fruit cocktail.

One of the saddest dining experiences in some time, the service is fine, but the food is Terrible, go for a tea and a scone maybe, but if you order food, you've been warned (bring a can opener and a tin with you if you want to save 5$ on a fruit salad....

a really well run establishment and the service was excellent and friendly. I called in there and was greeted with a smile and seated immediately. I enjoyed a hearty breakfast and a good cup of tea. The value for money compared to the Empress was superb
highly recommended

Noisy, good tea but dry bread on sandwiches, sandwiches included 'tuna' which was a poor/cheap quality.

For a small, intimate setting.... this was very nice. Compares to several tea rooms in the Vancouver and outskirts areas.
