ROCKLAND / FAIRFIELD.
The noodles are made fresh on the premises and a glass wall lets you watch the chefs work their magic. This authentic noodle house offers daily lunch specials incorporating different fresh seafood each day. Also delicious are the spicy ginger fried chicken and the imperial prawn with spicy garlic wine sauce. Lunch lines are often out the door at this hidden gem, thanks to the tasty fare and modest prices. Casual.

Overall, this is one of the finest Chinese establishments in Victoria. The food arrives unbelievably quickly after you order - really, you will not believe it at first, you will think it is a mistake. It is obviously made with great skill and care and you can even watch the cooks if you're in the right place - lots of flames back there! Very clean and casual - come as you are. Staff are very efficient and accommodating. Try the cashew chicken

From the ratings, we expected a lot and we were very disappointed. I can't even compare it to an average Chinese restaurant in Seattle. The noodles were bland and the Spicy Ginger Chicken was neither Spicy nor the chicken tasted fresh. I think this place tended more to the non-asian pallette as we were the only Asians in the establishment. If this is the best Victoria can do, then you're in trouble. This place wouldn't last a month in Seattle or San Francisco.
