Good food - but long lineups
The food here is good, and very reasonably priced - but the Blue Fox is a victim of its own success. There is always a long queue to get in, especially on weekends. It's only worth going here if you are willing to stand outside 25 minutes just to get a table! :-(

We walked in about 8am on a Saturday in January and got a table right away. The food was excellent. (The oatmeal was delicious.) The service was fast and pleasant. The prices were reasonable. This is an excellent breakfast spot.

So it's a small place - get over it !! It is simply the best breakfast in town period. If any readers think otherwise, please tell me where it's better.

Every city should have a place like this! The Blue Fox serves breakfast all day and has some lunch items, but the breakfasts are so good, why try something else? The food is unique and very, very good. Entrees are thoughtful, hearty and healthy. If you go very early (within 30 minutes of opening), you'll avoid the lines (that are due to the small nature of the restaurant-only about 20 tables). Overall, a great place for breakfast if you go early enough.

The tourist publications always tout this place, but it's just average. You get good food and large portions, but it's a small place and there is always a line and a wait. The line does not translate to the best food -- there's a line because the place is very small and only seats a few people at a time - about 20 tables tops and very cramped.

Best breakfast place in the city. Fairly small place though, so there is often a wait to get a table.

Very hip, very crowded -- worth the effort to get here on the early side for breakfast.

Fat French toast topped with fruits were fatteningly delicious!
