This is one of the best teas offered in Victoria; great value! Nicely presented and lots of food! They serve real clotted cream and this is a must! (I'm English). Highly recommended for both ambience and food.

Wow! If you're a foodie like I am, you will be absolutely thrilled with the culinary talents this restaurant has to offer. The service was excellent and each course was outstanding. With a wine list that offers something for everyone, there isn't much more that you could ask for…

Heron Rock Bistro

#4-435 Simcoe St, Victoria, BC

This is a great neighborhood spot that deserves city-wide attention. They feature a nicely varied menu, using lots of fresh local produce, a very friendly proprietor and staff, in a comfortable and unpretentious setting. I have been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it's always been top notch -- everything from eggs Benny and omelets to soup and salad, lamb burgers, steak frites, and seafood specials. Amazing stilton cheesecake (trust me). There is live music a few nights a week, which always enhances the ambiance rather than competing with the dining experience. You should go.

The Italian bakery was the first italian bakery in Victoria and was opened in 1978. It has been family run since that time and is the standard to which other establishments strive for. Savouries, breads and sweets are made with only natural ingredients adhering to the artisan tradition which began in Italy in 1921. Owners Alberto Pozzolo and Janet Cochrane exhibit and follow the philosophy supporting local and seasonal ingredients, sustainable and fair hiring practices as well as actively support community events and activities.

Traditional Northern Italian cuisine enphasising local and seasonal ingredients. Thin crust authentic Italian pizza will transport you to the old country. All pasta is hand made on the premises and stuffed pastas and lasagnas are assembled following family recipies which have tried and tested through time. Owner Chef Alberto Pozzolo is a member of the Island Chef Collaborative (an organization that forwards the interests of local farmers and supports a local sustainable economy)and Slow Food. Co-ownwer Janet Cochrane completes the ambiance through co-ordinating the local live musical entertainment (Wed-Sat) and the interior artistic decor combining local artist works in a traditional modern Italian setting. Menu changes seasonally. Limited seating, reservations are recommended. Open Tue-Sat for lunch and dinner.

Shark Club Bar & Grill

The Shark Club is the best spot to catch the game, watch pay-per-view sporting events, and has great daily drink specials (and it doesn't hurt that they have the hottest waitresses)! Away from the annoying hustle and bustle of crowded downtown, it's definitely among my 10 best in Canada!

Sugar Boy Bakery

This German restaurant located in downtown Victoria is a must for visitors and locals. Family owned and operated, they serve authentic and tasty German food with various specialty schnitzels and pork dishes, as well as savoury potato pancakes and spaetzel. They also have scrumptious desserts and you can't miss the delicious apple strudel. Great ambience with a cozy old-world decor, and wonderful service.
