5. Künstlerhaus

Styled in the manner of an Italian Renaissance palazzo, the entrance of this "House of Artists" is lined with marble statues of Velasquez, Raphael, da Vinci, Titian, Michelangelo and Rubens. The museum was founded by the Vienna Artists Society in the 19th century; its main house presents an eclectic mix of themed exhibitions; the gallery is used for exhibitions featuring painting, installations, design and architecture.
