Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his family lived here between 1784 and 1787, possibly his most joyous and productive years in Vienna. Here he wrote his famous opera "The Marriage of Figaro," along with the Haydn quartets and several piano concerti. On display are lithographs, engravings, portraits, letters, documents and copies of scores. Like many museums in Vienna, Figarohaus is equipped with a sound system that allows visitors to use headphones to listen to musical excerpts.   (© 10Best)
