6TH DISTRICT. Composer Joseph Haydn built this house in 1797 and lived here until his death in 1809. Haydn composed some of his finest works here, including "The Creation" and "The Seasons." The museum contains original manuscripts, copies of documents and scores, personal memorabilia, a piano and a clavichord. One room features furniture and keepsakes belonging to Johannes Brahms.
