4. Rathauspark

This city hall park features a line of statues on either side of the avenue that divides it in two. An array of fountains and benches are scattered throughout the leafy grounds. Open-air concerts are held here in the summer; the opening of the Vienna Festival and the Life Ball are annually staged here in May; and during Advent, the central avenue is transformed into a Christmas market with lots of lights and holiday ambience.   (© 10Best)
