3. Prater

Originally the imperial hunting grounds, the meadow and woods along the Danube are now an enormous public park and a popular attraction. The park is divided into two sections. The first is the Wurstelprater, or funfair section, and features rides, booths and restaurants. Enjoy a ride on one of Vienna's most famous landmarks, which is a giant Ferris wheel called Riesenrad. It moves slowly (about one revolution every 20 minutes) so riders can enjoy views of the park and the city. The other part of the park is devoted to trade fairs and sports activities.   (© 10Best)

Just another circus for the masses….Should have been left a hunting ground for the Hapsburgs, they probably took better care of it.
