3RD DISTRICT. Established in May 2004 by the world famous Viennese jazz keyboard player, Joe Zawinul, this is a modern, well-lit, airy club. It attracts top performers from all forms of jazz and world music, many of whom come to pay homage to Zawinul who died in September 2007. The club is in the same building as the Hotel Hilton, opposite the train and subway station on the Landstrasser Hauptstrasse.
