The first time in 6 years that 10 Best has let me down
I have traveled the world and this is the most horrific experience I have had. I had booked a party of 10 and at the last minute I had to cancel 4 people. I was told it would be 400 EU. So I tried to find some people to fill the spot and called when I did. Our table was not available and the owner was miserable. We had a preset meal and I asked for the menu so we could order some additonal things and it never arrived. The soup was cold. The sea bass was dried out. The cookies at the end had shriveled strawberries. They never served bread and the attention was not there. At the end they accused me of stealing the waiters pen and threatened to charge my credit card. These are nasty people and not worth the money. The food is mediocre at best and with the large number of exquisite restaurants in Vienna I would chose another. Try Korzo...it is elegant and the food is spectacular...used to be a Micheline Star. One of the most typical of 'tourist traps'...Certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
