5. Imperial

Although I've enjoyed 2 breathtaking New Year's Eve dinners there, at I might add 400 euros a person, I found that a regular "after concert" dinner was most disappointing. The place was empty, which tells me something. Our servers seemed distracted. I will have drinks and snacks in the bar, and the Cafe' is OK, but the restaurant is out - which is sad because we go to the Musikvereinsaal often and the Imperial is just across the allee. To bad.

We were served as if we were important. The dessert was the best I had in Vienna.
