1ST DISTRICT.   Café Museum was designed in 1899 by the famous Austrian architect Adolf Loos. Although Loos is renowned now for his simple, practical creations, at the time his design for the Café Museum was revolutionary and was nicknamed "Café Nihilism." This original design was recreated in 2003 and now, as well as enjoying a traditional coffee house atmosphere, you can wonder at Loos's work and view the café's current art exhibition.   (© 10Best)

Very nice and typical Viennese coffeehouse with interesting architecture by Adolf Loos (1899). Excellent Viennese pastries! Perfect location near opera and Fin de Siecle-museum "Secession".
