5. Tulare County Museum

VISALIA.   Located in Mooney Grove Park, this museum contains exhibits that preserve the Visalia area's rich history. Holdings include Native American artifacts as well as pioneer-era tools, furniture, clothing, and artwork. Also on the property is a Pioneer Village that includes replicas of a 19th century schoolhouse, blacksmith shop, and jail.   (© 10Best)
