VISALIA.   A casual joint for a quick bite, Pescado Petes opened for business in 1999 and has yet to slow its wheels. The business crowd adores owner Pedro "Pete" Flores's delicious version of fast food – fish & chips, swordfish or snapper tacos, homemade clam chowder, and sides of pineapple coleslaw. Although the setting probably won't knock your socks off, reasonable prices more than make up for it, and outdoor seating is available for those who don't want to carry their grub back to the office.   (© 10Best)

Though the food is not bad. I feel that for what you get (in a basket) the price is too high. This is not an eatery on the pier - prices reflected are too high. I would go more often if prices came down. But to pay $8.99 for a three piece fish and chips in a plastic basket is not my idea of fair pay for the fare. For that price, I'll go to a real restaurant.
