Horrible Customer Service
I grew up in the Visalia Area, and we enjoyed going to the Picnic a lot when we were kids. Now that I live in LA, we go to Picnic every time we come to Visalia which is twice a year. Last time we went, the people there were so uninterested, harsh, and unfriendly, that we almost left. It was like they didn't want us there. The girl that rang us up was the only pleasant one, so I got her name -It was Charlene. To the employees at Picnic: If you don't like your job, find another one.

My wife ordered our wedding cake from the Picnic Shop. It was so delicious. We thought we'd have leftovers but there was none! My wife loved the cake so much she oredered one for her baby shower and was so pleased with the decorations (little duckies all over it). My company is getting cookies for their open house in December.

This is a nice eatery, with their daily specials and excellent pie at just $2 a slice. And the friday deep pit beef sandwich special with its homemade salsa is to die for. Plus I look forward to dining there for dinner every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night because their night crew is exceptional. They truly go out of their way to make sure you get what you need.

Recently we ordered two cakes from The Picnic Shop, one chocolate and the other one a white cake. The chocolate cake was very good and it did not last lone. Part of the reason it was eaten so quickly was because the white cake was absolutely horrible. We ended up throwing 3/4 of the cake out. When we called to complain, their response was that they had saved some of the cake and it tasted fine to them. They did not make an attempt to remedy the situation; it was to bad that 80 people said that it was the worst cake they had ever tasted. Not only was the cake awful, so was their customer service.
