6. Historic Waco House Tours

WACO.   Through the years, the Historic Waco Foundation has acquired a number of significant homes and restored them for the edification of residents and visitors. They include the Earle-Napier-Kinnard House, the Fort House and the McCulloch House (all designed in Greek Revival style and made of local brick), along with Italianate Villa-style East Terrace. Each restored house features period furnishings and details, and trained docents are eager to share information on each one and on the families who lived there.   (© 10Best)
