2. Art Center Waco

Art Center Waco makes its home on 2-½ acres of the rolling hills of McLennan Community College. Since its inception in 1972, Art Center Waco has been a training ground for many new artists, as well as a showcase for the works of more established artists. Besides major exhibitions in the Cameron Gallery and smaller showings in the Jones Gallery, Art Center Waco offers weekend classes, workshops and demonstrations. The Gift Gallery shop offers an array of unique gift items, some handmade by the artists themselves. The Sculpture Walk, which has over 35 works of art and takes advantage of a magnificent view of the Brazos and Bosque River valley. The path is open at any hour, day or night.
