4. Hog Creek Ice House

SPEEGLEVILLE.   Tiny Speegleville, about eight miles west of town, is home to this no-frills place. It's not elaborate, it doesn't stand on formalities, but it does deliver what locals want: a place to relax and have fun. On Friday and Saturday, live music gets things jumping from 9pm on, and patrons who are so moved can kick up their heels on the tiny dance floor.
