28. DAR Constitution Hall

Attended MAZE/DOWNING concert and was very dissatisfied with the sound system, and it was extremely warm in the hall. No air circulating made it very uncomfotable. Also it would have been nice if there had been signs posted in the lobby informing you that no drinks were allowed in the seating area. Being that I recently moved here from New Orleans,LA., and was alone at the concert and had not been informed on what to expect, I was very dissappointed. I am wondering if ALL venues that grace your hall experience the same disregard that was displayed that night. Of course, I'm sure they don't because I would be hard pressed to understand how the hall sustains itself. I'm sure the artists that were there will not be booking shows at your hall in the near future. And yet, maybe that's the general idea. I only know that I will not be attending any shows there and risk being uncomfortable. I cannot express my disappointment enough.

I bought wheelchair access seating for my son and family to see Celtic Women. It was a nightmare!!! I was asked if my son with cerebral palsey could get out of his wheelchair and sit in a theater seat. He sat away from the rest of the family because of theater's poor planning.
