The Buzz -- Marathoning is a rapidly growing sport in the US, and this is one of the most popular races thanks to its excellent management and its course that is swift, flat and scenic. Oprah Winfrey, Al Gore and thousands of others have navigated the monuments during the fall race, which covers 26.2 attraction-filled miles.
