BETHESDA.   A graceful succession of arches distinguishes this well-received restaurant where chef-owner Francesco Ricchi creates authentic Tuscan dishes. Just a taste evokes the beautiful city of Florence, and the aroma of bread baking adds a welcoming touch. Osso buco is a perennial favorite, as are baby octopus salad, rabbit stew, and spinach pappardelle. A range of wines complements any meal, and you can't leave without sampling the chef's homemade tiramisu. You'll diet later. Business casual attire. METRO: Bethesda   (© 10Best)

Cesco is an exceptional restaurant. The specials are truly special, from the homemade soup, to the fresh salads, to the homemade pasta, to the grilled fish and meat. One word of caution: if you are in a hurry, be sure to tell the staff. Otherwise, they will assume that you wish to linger over your beverage and all of the courses. The waiters are truly professional. They will not only remember you, but remember your preferences. This is a restaurant to return to frequently for both casual and special evenings.

Cesco is one of the best restaurants this side of Italy. We always go for the pasta but they have just about everything. All homemade and good. Francesco Ricchi makes you feel like family. He is always in the kitchen and comes out often to chat with customers. We have been going since they opened 8-9 years ago and we keep coming back for the food, service and the feeling you get only from truly hospitable people. Just LOVE this place!
