27. Maurine Littleton Gallery

GEORGETOWN.   The Maurine Littleton Gallery is run by the daughter of Harvey Littleton, a central figure in the development of modern glassblowing. The gallery shows fine art glass exhibits, mostly of an abstract nature. Many famous glass artists, including a student of Harvey Littleton, are showcased here. Although the primary focus is on glass, you'll also see a few other three-dimensional works, including ceramics, woodturnings and ironworks. METRO: Foggy Bottom   (© 10Best)

Truly one of the prominent glass galleries in the US, if not the world. If you are at all interested in works in glass and you find yourself in DC, you owe it to yourself to visit Maurine Littleton Gallery.
