Bobby Van's is the BEST! I have gone there for both lunch and dinner and the food and service has always been outstanding. Their seafood bouqet is the best in all of DC and their steaks and sides meet or beat any other steak house in town. Great bar too!

My rat[ings] are based on the dinner I had there a few years ago. Although alone I was served and pampered by the waiters as if I was a VIP customer, even the manager offered me a grappa on the house to go with my espresso! The double cut Porterhouse was cooked to perfection ("rare" was "rare" : crusty outside, blood red but warm inside)which is not so evident in US steakhouses. I'm attending AAD's Annual Meeting early February and will visit them again. I will post my new rating upon my return.
