3. Horstman Glacier

WHISTLER VILLAGE.   Although it's a little complicated to get to, Horstman Glacier is highly recommended is you love to ski but find yourself in Whistler during the summer months. The Whistler - Blackcomb resort maintains the glacier for skiing and snowboarding, bringing snow in from nearby slopes or manufacturing it on the ice. Many people attend ski and snowboard camps on Horstman during the summer, so expect a crowd. To get there, take the Wizard and Solar Coaster Express chairlifts, and transfer to a bus which travels along the Expressway to the 7th Heaven Express – take that to the top of the glacier. Summer glacier skiing is open from early June through July, but exact dates vary.   (© 10Best)
