5. Fanatyk Co Ski and Cycle

WHISTLER VILLAGE.   After more than a decade in business, Fanatyk definitely knows its stuff. And in the local press, residents have regularly voted Fanatyk "best bike shop." During the warmer months, they specialize in mountain bike sales, rentals and service. Rent a bike for anywhere from one hour (about CAD12) to one day (about CAD 104). Once the snow starts to fall, they switch gears, focusing on skis and equipment for winter sports. They'll even custom fit ski boots.   (© 10Best)
