Quirks & Curiosities
Discount lift tickets are available at Vancouver area 7-11 convenience stores (but NOT at Squamish or Whistler stores!).
By law, children are permitted in most pubs only until 7pm.
Whistler is exceptionally dog friendly and numerous hotels accept pets. Doggie day care and/or dog walking are widely available – try the Nanny Network 604-938-2823 and the Whistler Dog's Paw 604-932-4288.
LUNA (Late and Unique Nighttime Alternatives) offers non-alcoholic evening entertainment and outings for the 18-35 age group, like drop-in sports, film screenings, live music, snowshoeing and plenty of other fun stuff. Programming is scheduled Nov-Apr and Jun-Sep; membership (CAD 3) is required.
