6. Riverside Perk

If you haven't eaten pecan pie from the Perk then you have missed a real delight. And they have Jones soda, too.

I love the Perk! I've lived in Riverside for years, used to go to "the Perk" every morning for a newspaper and a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed, with an ecclectic grouping of customers and artwork.

The perk is by far the best place for coffee in Wichita and possibly, dare I say, Kansas. The Staff is great, the coffee is good, and the atmosphere is kind of secluded, but also open to conversations.

The Perk is one of the best places to hang out in Wichita. The staff is excellent and now under the new ownership, the seating and general attitude of all the staff and customers has been greatly improved. Keep up the good work!!

Great place to drink coffee and smoke a cig and have deep conversation with any one in the shop. The perk also has open bands and all around great music.

The deserts are wonderful, so is the coffee and the hanging out.

The Perk is fabulous! I don't live in Wichita at the moment and I miss it every day.
