WICHITA FALLS.   This 1200-acre lake, located just south of the city, dates from 1901 and has long been a popular place for local families to swim, picnic, and fish. In fact, if angling is your thing, you'll be happy to know that the lake is home to a wide range of fish, including white bass, hybrids, channel cats, and white crappie.
