Lake Kickapoo

HOLIDAY. A favorite weekend destination, this multi-purpose lake is located thirty miles south of Wichita Falls. It opened in the late '40s and now spans 6000 square acres. Kickapoo's waters are prime for fishing, boating, waterskiing, and swimming. Designated camp sites, boat ramps, and courtesy boat docks are available as well. The lake is a great place to get away from the worries of city life.
