10. Things Our Fathers Loved- A recital of opera arias and classical songs

The Buzz -- Michelle Trovato, an internationally distinguished soprano who hails from Williamsburg, will give a recital entitled Things our Fathers Loved with pianist Christine Niehaus. Based on her own Italian-American heritage, the program features songs and arias by the best-loved composers of Italian opera: Puccini, Rossini and Verdi, and also by some great American composers: Stephen Foster, Charles Ives, Carlisle Floyd and Victor Herbert. It is a program that truly has something for all music-lovers and is not to be missed!
