12. The Trellis

The Trellis has become one of the best-known restaurants in Virginia. For over 20 years, patrons have been enjoying regional delicacies such as baby halibut, soft shell crabs and pigeon. To top it off are the desserts – Desaulniers is the author of three best-selling cookbooks and one of them just happens to be called "Death by Chocolate." So don't leave without tempting fate!
