COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG. Some of the finest shops in the area are located right next to Colonial Williamsburg. Over 40 local merchants present their wares in one of the most picturesque settings imaginable. From clothing to quilts to nationally known restaurants, this is a wonderful place to shop. It is closed to traffic, so walking is marvelous, and there are numerous benches for rest in between purchases. An unhurried atmosphere and very personable clerks make this a great way to indulge in the age-old pastime of merchandising. This shopping district, along with most of downtown Williamsburg, is a WiFi hotspot.

Over 80 shops are included in this huge outdoor mall. With brand name bargains from Jones New York, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Aigner, Coach and Wedgewood, this is a very popular outlet destination. This outlet mall has the only LLADRO outlet in the US and is one of the largest outlet malls in the country.

Designed to look like a small village, this collection of small boutiques is a shopper's treasure and reflects the Kingsmill's upscale resort mentality. The antithesis of the numerous factory outlet centers located in the area, it is a pleasant place to spend an afternoon ... and money! The village is also blessed with excellent restaurants like Le Yaca and Mr. Liu's.

The area's largest enclosed mall has over 50 stores that offer from 20% to 70% off regular retails prices. Stores include Sag Harbor, Avon, Lee/Wrangler and numerous others. There is a food court in the middle and plenty of benches for tired shoppers or those accompanying them.
