3. Fort Whyte Nature Centre

This nature center teaches about the plants and animals that make up the prairie ecosystem. Inside the interpretive center you'll find a freshwater aquarium, lots of fascinating exhibits and a waterfowl viewing station. Other highlights of the 600-acre site include a herd of about 30 bison, trails for hiking or bicycling in the summer and a prairie dog town.
