Found on the Register of Historic Places, Bethabara Park offers a look at the first settlement of Moravians in North Carolina. The 180 acre park consists of gardens, meeting houses and exhibit buildings. Tours are available from April to the end of November and are approximately 1 to 1.5 hours and include a 15 minute video.

Wonderful spot! There are plenty of trails to be found in this 969 acre park. The park offers access to High Point Lake, allowing for swimming, fishing and boating. Many city events are held in this park. It is also home to one of the largest public swimming pools in the Southeast with water slides and a pool complex.

This vineyard, located just outside of Winston-Salem, offers various wines. The grapes used in their wines are the traditional grapes also used in European wines. The wines of Westbend have been the recipients of many awards. Wine tasting is offered at the vineyard.
