5. Korner's Folly

Built originally in the 1880's, this house has been remodeled into an unusual home by an eccentric artist and designer, Jule Gilmer Korner. A historic sight, its elaborate details are more story book than real. Built on seven levels with 22 rooms and 20 fireplaces, much of the interior is as strange as the outside, with carved details and entertaining doors.
